New Healthcare Work

We’ve had the chance to work on some healthcare projects this last year so we thought it was time to gather some of the better imagery together for the blog! These projects are from all over the country, New Orleans, Dallas, and Nashville, and were a pleasure to shoot. I love the challenge these types of spaces create, composing something compelling from a traditionally sterile environment; however, with more and more considered design entering into the field of healthcare, my job becomes that much more engaging.

BLUR’s Riverview Ballroom at the Gaylord National Win’s Georgia AIA

I was thrilled to hear this project designed by BLUR Workshop will be receiving an AIA Georgia award this year. The large empty interior space with its walls of windows and detailed mullions created a photographic challenge that we overcame with some scale figures and detail shots. The exterior did well speaking for itself and we came up with some really gorgeous samples of how the building interacts with the space it holds on the riverside. Temperatures during twilight shooting dropped to a less than favorable twelve degrees with wind-chill (by far the coldest this southerner has ever been) but it was well worth the pain; ending in a set of images that delivered the commendation this project deserved and generating the publicity BLUR Workshop was after.

Shot on the Fuji GFX with the combination of Canon 24mm-tse and Hasselblad CF 50.

Villas at Playa Grande Drone Footage

Here is a recent video we shot for ZCDC’s newly finished set of beach homes in Gulf Shores, Alabama. This video demonstrates the power of video to translate the dynamics of space and design, further helping to inform potential clients of the essence of projects as well as establish an understanding of the environment the project exists within.

We shot this one on the DJI Mavic 2 Pro and edited out in Adobe Premier.
